The generosity of you crafty creatives never ceases to amaze me. Did you know we hit the 300,000 lb mark? That would be 304, 224 lbs (to be exact) of amazing art and craft supplies that you all have taken the time to pack up, load up, and drive over to the Scrappy Elephant instead of hitting the easy button and throwing them in the trash can. That is incredible. Speaking of numbers and incredible humans, thanks to Deb and Vaughan who took their time to fix up several sewing machines, they raised a little over $1000 at the sewing machine sale yesterday! Its a win win win- some sewists in the machine got some lovely like new machines for extremely reasonable prices, we are able to donate money to a very good cause, and those machines were kept out of the landfill!
There is SO much fun to be had here at Scrappy today! If you love coloring, today’s the day. These, along with some color pencils will make the perfect stress relieving gift for those recent grads, who have face the question, “What are you doing next?!” each and every day all summer long. Speaking of gifts, we have also have a gorgeous table easel fill with color pencils, watercolor pencils, and pastel pencils- so lovely! Another lovely thing? The giant basket filled with very old, very beautiful photographs. Please please please show us what you make with these!
