A little bit about Sheryl:
Sheryl Easterling has devoted much of her life to nurturing, guiding, and teaching children. She worked at a daycare throughout high school and college, taught VBS and Sunday School at her church, and retired after a 31-year career teaching elementary school. She is an experienced caregiver and educator whose lifelong career has centered on supporting children’s growth, learning, and emotional well‑being. She enjoys creating safe, enjoyable spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Glue with Me! Making Glue Books
A glue book is an art journal in which you glue materials onto pages in your own creative style. Glue Books provide a low-pressure way to explore art. You’ll learn how to start a glue book, how to make collages, and how to create beautiful pages using texture, color, and themes. Most of all, it’s FUN!
Children will learn how to create designs with patterns, cut images and shapes to tell a story, and so much more!

Joy in Junk Journals
Let's make a Junk Journal! This class is especially for teens, providing a creative outlet to experiment with style, texture, and design without the pressure to follow a strict format. The process of collecting and arranging materials can be meditative. With a mix of materials and personal touches, you can make your own treasured junk journal.

Stamps, Stencils, and Stickers!
This class will allow children to explore art in a non-threatening environment using stamps, stencils, and stickers. They will experiment with color, create one-of-a-kind projects, and build confidence. Each child will be able to create his very own handmade treasure box, greeting cards, story stones, pictures, and more… all embellished using an assortment of fun stamps, decorative stencils, and colorful stickers. This will be a fun class!

Make Art, Be Happy
An art journal is a personal space where you can record your thoughts, interests, and experiences through both visual art and written words. A style of journaling that includes drawings, paintings, doodling, collages, stenciling, and other elements to create a unique, beautiful expression of your heart. A visual diary with no rules and no limits. For those who love to create, this class is for you!
