April Gray
April taught herself to crochet during a big snowstorm and she’s been making adorable things ever since. She especially enjoys making house plants that can’t die.
Natania Mayo
My name is Natania! I graduated from college in 2024, and I started working from home. I suddenly had a lot of time on my hands after graduation, and I wasn't seeing people everyday around campus. I started sewing to fill my free time. I quickly started making more than I could use, but sewing was so good for my mental health. I decided to start Threaded Treasures and start selling my creations. I have always loved thrifting, so I decided to use mostly thrifted and vintage materials. By combining my two favorite hobbies, I am able to create truly one of a kind creations! I love getting to talk to people at markets and bring their ideas to life! I'm so excited to be selling at The Scrappy Elephant! To follow along and see what else I'm making, follow me on socials
Ella Morrison
Ella Morrison is a Filipina-American multimedia designer who strives to make art that is bright, silly, and fun! She lives an idyllic life in Central Virginia with her partner and cat children.
Rebekah Pryor
Rebekah Pryor is an artist, mother, and wife. She is constantly making something with her hands and always learning new ways to express herself creatively. My most recent work has been working with wire making small sword pendants and earrings. She is an avid reader and a lover of dark romance and fantasy books! (Hence the obsession with swords). She also loves rocks and has enjoyed incorporating semi-precision stones into her pieces. She has a background in painting and sculpture and graduated from the University of Lynchburg in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in painting while also receiving minors in Special Education and Psychology with a concentration in Human Development. Since 2016 she has been an entrepreneur always making something with her hands from crochet and knitted items, to paintings, sewn dolls, and now jewelry! Outside of work, Rebekah enjoys spending time with her family - visiting art museums, reading, painting, and creating with her two young children.
Christa Allexis Renzi
Hello, I’m Christa—I work at an animal hospital and have always had a passion for helping animals and making art, so I combined them! I create pieces that celebrate the bond we share with our pets: hand-painted pet portraits, jewel-bright bottle art, delicate bone-and-flower jars, and perler-bead pet keychains (winter-themed for the season! ). My style is bold, whimsical, and heartfelt; I put real meaning into every piece so fellow animal lovers can carry a little love every day. Welcome to PawfulofWhimsy—where your pet’s story gets a dash of Whimsy. Come out and browse the display to see if you can find your pet’s look-alike!
