Ephemera is one of my favorite words. In crafting it usually means little odds and ends that are used in paper-crafting. The very meaning of the word refers to the fleeting nature of things. Looking at the little pack of printed images included in today’s fresh finds got me to thinking. Secondhand arts and crafts material are ephemeral in their nature. You may come to Scrappy and get a piece of fabric you’ll never see again, or a piece of driftwood that would have floated back out to sea had someone not captured it. This may be too philosophical for a random Tuesday, but it sure is fun to think about.
