Kids Intro to Sewing

Geared towards beginners, this series with Becky will cover the components of working with a sewing machine as we make a variety of items as you learn basic techniques. Students will bring a working machine (including power cord and pedal) but if they don’t have one, we can provide one. A sewing kit (pins, measuring tape, marking tools, fabric scissors, ruler) is suggested, but not required. We’ll use items from Scrappy Elephant for our projects, including tote bags, zipper pouches and more.

Ages 8 and up

Beginner Stop Motion Animation Class

Learn the basics of hand drawn, cut paper, object and clay animation. Then create your own short animated movie! This is a six week session.

Students must bring a tablet or laptop with built in camera that faces away from keyboard. A small number of devices are available to borrow on a first come, first served basis.
