Teens Intro to Sewing
Students will learn the components of a sewing machine including how to load the bobbin, thread the machine, learn to sew a straight line, gain control of the sewing speed and pace, seam finishes, backstitching, pivoting and seam allowances. They’ll make a pillowcase as they learn basic machine sewing skills. We ask students bring a working machine (including power cord and pedal) but if they don’t have one, we can provide one. A sewing kit (pins, measuring tape, marking tools, fabric scissors, ruler) is suggested, but not required. Students will be provided with a materials list upon registration.

Afternoon Preschool and Toddler Art Time
Join the amazing Minou for some fun preschool and toddler art time. Sign songs, read stories, and play with all sorts of fun art materials! Every Friday at 1pm. Come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting messy!

Club Create
Club Create is a series of afterschool art classes at the Scrappy Elephant Classroom for kids in Kindergarten-5th grade. Students will create different projects using a variety of art materials and meet other kids who love arts and crafts! It’s sure to be lots of creative fun! Please note, this is a 6-week session, but will not be meeting the week of April 29th. Classes meet every Tuesday, 3:30-4:30 PM.
