Tuesday Afternoon Club Create
Club Create is a series of afterschool art classes at the Scrappy Elephant. Students will create different projects using a variety of art materials including drawing, painting, clay and fiber art with an experience art educator. They will also meet other kids who love arts and crafts!

Kids Intro to Sewing
Geared towards beginners, this series with Becky will cover the components of working with a sewing machine as we make a variety of items as you learn basic techniques. Students will bring a working machine (including power cord and pedal) but if they don’t have one, we can provide one. A sewing kit (pins, measuring tape, marking tools, fabric scissors, ruler) is suggested, but not required. We’ll use items from Scrappy Elephant for our projects, including tote bags, zipper pouches and more.

Beginner Stop Motion Animation Class
Learn the basics of hand drawn, cut paper, object and clay animation. Then create your own short animated movie! This is a six week session.
Students must bring a tablet or laptop with built in camera that faces away from keyboard. A small number of devices are available to borrow on a first come, first served basis.

This series is for the sewist that has some sewing experience but still wants some instructional help while sharpening their skills. Led by Becky, students will work on a variety of projects based on their ages and skills, including learning how to self-draft clothing. A sewing kit (pins, measuring tape, marking tools, fabric scissors, ruler) is suggested, but not required.

Kids Sewing 102
This class is geared towards kids that have some sewing experience and are ready to move onto more complicated projects. We'll work at our own pace as students work on projects of their own choosing, whether it be garments or other items. A full size working sewing machine and sewing kit (pins, measuring tape, marking tools, fabric scissors, ruler) is suggested by not required.
