We are nearing six years into this little Scrappy Elephant business and I have learned a lot about the crafting world during this time. I am now fairly decent at identifying different types of fabric, I can almost always pick out cotton from acrylic yarn, and can quickly tell whether or not the polymer clay can still be used or not. I have also learned that when you make a quilt, you usually have to send it off the long arm quilter in order to finish it. If you have ever wished you didn’t have to send it off, then today is your lucky day! We have a 15” Bailey’s Home Quilter machine and Hinterberg Design Stretch Machine Quilting Frame* here for you. As you can see from the photos below, she is a big, beautiful machine. The lovely human who donated it has taken it all apart so it can (rather) easily be transported to your house AND she has even offered to come help you set it all up! We have our fabulous and fun toddler class this and every Thursday until June at 10:30 this morning. We also have the studio stocked with supplies if you want to come make a sign for the May Day Solidarity Celebration.
This weekend we also have some fun classes happening: Mindful Doodling, Expressive Watercolor and Ink Butterflies,Intro to Double Knitting, and Oil Painting for Everyone, Floral Edition.
