Have you ever said to yourself, “I’d really like to learn weaving.” or “I’d really like to learn needle felting.” or “I’d really like to create an entire fake flower wall.” Of course you have! Because you are a creative person and creative people are always wanting to learn to new skills and try new things. So maybe you didn’t say the flower wall thing, but perhaps you’ve wanted to cover something else in fake flowers.
Anyhoo… thanks to the generous artists of central Virginia*, we have all sorts of AMAZING things here for you today! From a gorgeous Cricket loom, to so many pony beads, to coloring books, to colorful wool, we have a little bit of everything here at the Scrappy Elephant. We’re open from 11-5 for all things creative reuse and that includes all sorts of fun classes like our Little Picasso art class, Bookbinding a Junk Journal, and Dishmat Basket Making class happening this weekend, and coming and playing in our studio! *many of these donations are from our Cville location. If you know any artists and makers in the LYH area that are looking to downsize, please let them know they can bring their unwanted art and craft supplies here to the Scrappy Elephant.
