Hello everyone, today is a yarn dream! We have nearly a dozen skeins from a local farm, and many more from varying companies. There are also 6 wooden drawers with dividers inside, as well as a plastic cabinet with many drawers, all perfect for organizing trinket collections. The star of the show might be the old Brother sewing machine, exceptionally heavy and exceptionally gorgeous!

This week we have a number of classes! Today is our Mindful Doodling class, a two-day workshop that will continue on the 14th. This Thursday is the much-loved Morning Toddler Time, an hour of singing, story time, and art. This Saturday is Beginner Hand Sewing, an introductory course that will teach running, back, and slip stitches. This Sunday is packed, we’ll be having the Slow Stitch Sampler at 11am for those looking to expand their stitching library, a Printmaking Workshop at 3pm that is perfect for those who have experience with linocutting or total beginners!

We will be open from 9am to 6pm today. Just a reminder, if you are applying for the Artful Elephant the application is due this Sunday!
