I (Ellen) used to love April Fools Day as a kid; something about planning the perfect (harmless) prank called to my whimsical side. When I was 10 years old, I believed I had come up with the best prank ever performed (I’m pretty sure I didn’t actually come up with it myself. I probably read it in some kid’s magazine at the dentist). I set my alarm super early so I could fill my parent’s toothbrush holder with water and put it in the freezer. Then I set another alarm for a little bit before my parent’s usually woke up, pulled the toothbrush holder out of the freezer, and went back to bed, ready for my genius plan to stump my parents when they went to brush their teeth and it wouldn’t come out.
