Yesterday a customer came in to fill up her reusable bag with new goodies. She said she’d received some rough news, and she knew coming to Scrappy would cheer her up. Another customer admitted she was working through some mental health stuff, and that art supplies would help her process. It just got me thinking about how sometimes we all need a safe space. I love watching customers digging through our bins, singing along to the music, smiles on their faces. I’m glad we can be an oasis for you when the world gets scary. I’m gonna let the photos show you all the good stuff today, and leave you with this - be kind to each other, and be gentle with yourself.
