Back in January, I didn’t know how I was going to survive the year. The news was coming so fast and furious and my brain felt so very scattered. Yet here it is, the last day of the year. I survived, I thrived, and I crafted. I tried turning off all the screens clamoring for my attention and reigniting my love of slow hobbies like cross stitching and coloring. I tried new things (for me) like beading and junk journaling. And I leaned into community, a lot of which happened for me right here at the Scrappy Elephant. I’m wishing you all a new year full of new and old hobbies and lots of good conversation, and some wonderful warm beverages. May the new year be one of thriving for you all!
