Happy Monday! We hope your weekend was wonderful and this week is even more so. Today we’re kicking off the post with 4 gorgeous glass vases, including one in UVA colors and one that looks remarkably like an olive (although less so in a photograph). We’ve also got a very cute shelf, an adorable bench, and approximately so many sheets of tile. There’s opalescent tile, metal tiles, marble-like tile, so many colorful options. We’ve gotten a lot of fabric recently, and we’ve picked a few of the more interesting ones to showcase on the post, although they are by no means the only cool fabric we’ve got right now.

We’ve got a STORM of classes this week! Today we’ll be hosting Crochet a Wind Spinner (basic crochet knowledge required but materials provided), Making Miniatures for 4th to 7th graders, a community minded Crafter Hours. On Tuesday we begin the Beginner Sewing Class for Adults, a series of 4 classes, and Kids Intro to Sewing, a series of 8 classes, both of which will focus on learning to use a sewing machine and create with it. The weekly Fiber Arts Fan Club will also be this Tuesday, a free community event for fiber crafters. This Wednesday we’ll be hosting Autumn Drawing and Watercolor, Autumn Arts and Crafts, and Painting and Printing. This Thursday we of course are hosting Morning Toddler Time once more, as well as Kids Sewing 102, a series of 12 classes for those who have experience but are looking to sharpen their skills. A similar class is available for adults on Friday, Adult Sewing 102: Garments, which will guide you through how to read patterns, pick sizes, and cut your fabric, as well as putting it together. It will be joined that Friday by the Slow Stitch Sanctuary, a relaxed open stitching circle.
