Free Joy Giveaway

I was listening to a rerun of a podcast with Gloria Steinem. The interviewer made a comment about how in so many photos of Gloria and her fellow organizing activists and partners, they are often laughing. She was asked, “How were you and are you so full of laughter instead of bitterness?”

Her response was, “…laughter is crucial because laughter turns out to be the one emotion that can’t be compelled. It’s a proof of freedom. And laughter together is such a communal experience.”

I’d like to invite you again for a communal laughing experience here at Scrappy. Lisa Ha is back with her comedy show/crochet class- Stich and Snark: Create your own F-Bomb. While you do need to know basic crochet stitches, beginners are welcome. The class will take place this Sunday, September 20th at 11am.
