This junk journaling class invites you to explore a creative, tactile art form that transforms the bits and pieces of everyday life into beautiful, eye-catching journal pages eager to tell your story. It’s a creative playground that allows you to express yourself in ways you never expected. Come have fun, make friends, and make magic.

What You Will Learn

• Found material selection — how to choose papers, textures, and objects that add character and meaning.

• Layering and collage techniques — building depth with composition, color, and contrast.

• Page design — creating pockets, flips, tags, clusters, and interactive elements.

• Mixed media methods — using inks, stamps, stencils, distressing, fabric, lace, and simple binding.

What is the Junk Journal Style

• “Clean” – Instead of the heavily distressed, grungy, vintage look many junk journals have, the “clean” style focuses on beauty, color, and a more curated feel.

• Esthetically botanical and floral
