I don’t know about you but the weather is calling me to put on more and more clothes each day- soon I’ll be wearing hats and scarves. Luckily for our fiber artists there are plenty materials here at Scrappy to make your own! Vintage fabrics with the cutest patterns that scream nostalgia. I’d love to see people wearing these patterns but they would be great for napkins or our mixed media friends too. While October is the month of sweaters- its also the month of candy, and these jelly beanz skeins -almost- fit both categories. Sugar N’ Cream cute cottons can also be found fresh to the floor today. These half felt/ half yarn soft but mighty skeins have certainly got me scratching my head, are they to be used as typical yarn? If you know, come check them out and consider enlightening us!

You know what goes well with cold weather? The warmth of community! Get out of the cold and get in to a new craft with us. Print making with natural materials is pay-what-you-can and is happening this Friday. We also have a watercolor class and a sewing class happening this weekend. It’s not too late to sign up, meet some new friends or just learn a new art. We hope to see you there!
