Cyanotype 101

  • The Scrappy Elephant (map)

Join Ellen for an afternoon in the sun! Learn the cyanotype process, an early form of photography that uses light-sensitive paper and shadows to create stunning, bright blue images. Because this process relies on sunlight, this class is weather-dependent. If there is rain in the forecast, we will reschedule.

Please bring: Water, sunscreen, a cookie sheet, items you would like to make images of (things like lace, pressed flowers, wooden shapes, and film negatives show up really well in your final images).
