Calling all painters-we have some real treats here for you today! We also have some cute bits of fabric (more on that later), some fun coloring kits, fun Minecraft, Mario, and anime posters, 500 earring packages for the earring makers out there, a whole lotta boxes, a lovely Singer in a table that has been all fixed up by the incredible Vaughan and oh SO much more. The Scrappy magic has worked once again, and the donations have been pouring in. Huge thank you to everyone who takes the time out of your busy day to bring us your unwanted art and craft supplies. The artists and makers in this community thank you as well.
Now back to the fabric… back in the day we used to get more fabric than we knew what to do with. We had monthly fabric sales. But now more people are sewing, yaaaayyyy!!! That is possibly thanks to all the fun sewing classes that Becky teaches, thank you Becky! So fabric has been in high demand lately. And since Joanne’s has closed, whew, we have been having a HARD time keeping fabric on the shelves. If you know anyone sitting on a stash of fabric they will never use, please tell them that if they bring it to Scrappy, it will be used and loved almost immediately. And speaking of sewing, we are trying something new. We are now carrying Coats and Clark Dual Duty thread. Each spool is only $2.85. Since we aren’t sure if this is something our sewing community is actually looking for, we are starting with just a few colors. Please feel free to let us know if there are certain colors you are looking for next time you come in.
